Trainee Diaries: Week Twenty Five
Hello all! How are we today? All good I hope. Now then what has been happening in the land that is NIO Comm? Well, this week has been a bit of a new one for me. I had to go up to London on my lonesome to get some surveys completed. Mainly I was going around the poplar area which wasn't too bad. Lots of walking required on that one, round trip of about 10km walking from area to area plus then walking all over the place getting photos of different sites. i didn't mind it too much, it was quite nice to be able to go around and put everything I've learnt into practise.
Going on from the trip, we've been smashing through lots of planning packs getting a reasonable stockpile stored up. After the trip, we've been able to confirm another five pack designs which we'll get finished before the end of the month.
The civils work in London is going well. Yes, it's fair to say we've had a substantial amount of hiccups along the way but a lot of them have been out of our control. It's been a learning experience for sure, but hopefully with all the new skill and information we've learned, we will be more prepared and ready for anything that can happen within this type of work. We believe we could have a lot more of this style of work coming into us reasonably soon so everything we've learned will be invaluable if we undertake this new venture.
Not much else to say this week really, working hard as always and getting through a lot of work. I’ll be seeing you next week.
